Thomas L. Guillozet
Born in Russia, Ohio on July 10, 1959; admitted to the bar, 1985, Ohio; Marietta College (B.A. 1981 Cum Laude); University of Dayton School of Law (J.D. 1985).

Thomas L. (Torn) Guillozet grew up in Russia, Ohio, along with his six brothers and six sisters and graduated from Russia High School in 1977. He graduated from Marietta College in 1981 with B.A. degrees in Political Science and History. Thereafter, Tom graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in May 1985 and passed the July 1985 Ohio Bar Examination and has been practicing in the courts of the State of Ohio since.
Tom has been with the firm since passing the bar and is engaged in a broad general practice with a concentration in real estate, probate administration, and estate planning, municipal and small business formation, and operations. Tom completed in 2012 a three-year term as District Two representative, which encompasses Darke, Shelby, Miami, Montgomery and Preble counties, to the Ohio State Bar Association Board of Governors. While serving on the Board of Governors, Tom served as chair of the Membership, Public Relations, and Media Committees, chair of the Audit Committee and chair of the Board of Editors for Ohio Lawyer Magazine. Tom is also a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.
Tom serves as the village solicitor for four different villages in Darke County as well as being a magistrate for two other village’s mayor’s courts. Tom is a member of the Board of Directors of the Versailles Savings and Loan Association as well as a member of the Boards of Trustees of the HOPE (Helping Other People Excel) Foundation of Darke County and the Versailles Community Fund Foundation. Tom has previously been an adjunct professor at Wright State University and Edison State Community College.
Tom and his wife, Melanie, have two daughters, Haley, and McKenna.
